The day after Christmas we traveled on up to Knoxville to have Christmas with the Poes and visit close friends. We met Daniel's dad (Ron) and step-mom (Patsy) for lunch and then headed over to his Mamaw & Papaw's house. We had a nice time with them. Taylor got a couple of baby dolls, a tricycle, and some clothes. Here are some pictures of her playing with her new toys. We also brought in her tea set to play with.

Taylor had not had a nap, plus I had given her some cold medicine, so she was getting very sleepy. She fell asleep in the car once we left Mamaw's and Papaw's house and slept for about 45 minutes in the car. We headed from there to Morristown to meet up with our friends Joseph & Michelle. Joseph is a long-time friend of Daniel's and her affectionately refers to him as his little brother. We stayed with them a couple nights while we visited friends in Morristown. On Saturday after lunch we saw a close neighbor of ours when we lived in Morristown and then spent some time over at Joseph's parents house. His older brother, Jon, and wife, Holly, were up with their two children from Atlanta. We all went to college together. It was good to see them. For dinner we met up with some of Daniel's high school buddies and their families. We all have girls and they had a blast playing on the playground at Chick-fil-A. Taylor didn't really climb on the equipment much, but she had fun with the other girls and was squealing and laughing. I wish I had pictures to share, but we didn't have our camera with us. I will do better next year.
On Sunday we went to our old church in Jefferson City. A lot has changed since we left, but we did see a few people that we knew and it was good to talk to Pastor Rusty and Ginger again. After Taylor's nap we headed out. We made a stop in Knoxville to visit with our friends, the Friedman's. They used to live here in Americus with us and we became close while they were here, so we take every opportunity to visit them when we are in Knoxville. The kids had a lot of fun playing together. Here are a few pictures.
