First Professional Haircut

I decided while we were in Chattanooga to get Taylor's hair cut. I wanted to take her to this place called Tiki Cuts that is just for kids. They specialize in first hair cuts and have things to distract them like cars to sit in while you get your hair cut and videos to watch. It sounded really neat and I thought it would make a good experience for Taylor's first official cut. Unfortunately there were no openings until Monday, so I decided to just take her to Fantastic Sams instead. I thought she might do okay since I have cut her hair before and she didn't cry, but this time she cried as soon as the beautician put the cape on her. It was so pitiful. She immediately took the cape back off and said she would just cut it without the cape. She then gave Taylor a sucker to calm her down. This seemed to do the trick and Taylor was fine for most of the haircut. When she was finished she went over to the waiting area with Grandmommy and played with a little boy who was waiting on his mom while I got my hair cut. She was having a lot of fun just playing with the little boy who was a lot older than her. Here are some pictures that I captured from the whole event.
